Changing your password

Example:
You were at a party last night and when people started talking about fish you blurted out "My password is 'I wish I could catch a fish!'" You probably don't want everyone at the party to access your account so you should change your password right away.

In fact, it's a good idea to change your password often even if you haven't told it to anyone.

It is strongly recommended to choose a password of at least 8 characters, including at least one upper case, one lower case, and one non-alphabetical character. To construct an effective password that will give you good protection, it is recommended that you create a long password (up to 64 characters including spaces) which spells out a phrase with the words slightly changed. For example: "The boy stood on the burning deck" could be changed to "The boy's stand on on the burning decks". The important point is that long passwords need to be remembered.

Note: Although Safe-mailTMoffers a reminder feature we advise you to choose a strong password you will remember rather than using the reminder. A simple answer to a reminder question will weaken your security.
