Beware of SCAM!
There have been a number of scam emails circulating the Internet recently, which are worth a warning.
Do not answer scam messages!
Some examples:
- Lottery scams: Advising the recipient he/she had won a great deal of money.
They will ask for confidential information about you, like your full address and
your bank account details.
- Nigerian scam #1: Claims that the sender has an amount of money (some millions
of dollars) in his country and he needs your help to take it out of the country.
After convincing you that you can trust them they will ask you to pay a commission
(they will find a lot of good reasons why you have to pay the last commission, again and again).
- Nigerian scam #2: Advising the recipient that a relative of his/hers had died,
and therefore the recipient inherited a lot of money (more details at Nigerian scam #1).
- And many more...
If you receive one of these mails - DO NOT REPLY OR FILL IN ANY FORMS OR SEND ANY MONEY.
Do not send your bank account details or credit-card details to someone you don't know.
